The research in our laboratory focuses on the experimental investigations of laser-plasma interactions and on the physics of material modifications with intense femtosecond laser pulses. We provide dedicated experimental support for the on-going theory/simulations program in extreme nonlinear optics at the Arizona Center for Mathematical Sciences. Our lab facilities have been assembled under the support from the Defense University Research Instrumentation Program by the US Air Force Office of Scientific Research. We are located in the labs #666 and #668 at the College of Optical Sciences, on the University of Arizona campus in Tucson.
