Description |
This monocular has a short round parallel ivory barrel, covered with a veneer of tortoise shell. The single objective lens is non-achromatic. It has one draw, made of either silver or silver-plated brass. There is a single eye lens and a flared ivory eyecup. It is signed "NAIRNE + BLUNT 20 CORNHILL, LONDON" on the face of the ivory ring retaining the objective. It has a fish skin covered case. |
