Description |
This telescope has a parallel brass barrel, covered in horn and baleen. The objective lens is an achromatic doublet. The push-on objective lens cap contains a compass. It has six brass draws, a four lens eyepiece, and a flared eyecup with a sliding cover. It is signed "Carpenter 24 Regent St. London" on the eyepiece draw, with the eyecup to the right. |
