Description |
This telescope has a round parallel wood barrel (probably mahogany), painted reddish-brown, with a push-on objective lens cap, which is missing. The objective is an achromatic doublet, which has a small chip on the exterior lens. It has three brass draws, a four lens eyepiece (contained in the segmented smallest draw), and a flared eyecup with a swivel cover. The eyepiece draw is signed "Dollond London" with the eyecup to the right. |
