Description |
This telescope has a round parallel nickel silver (copper, nickel, and zinc alloy) barrel, wrapped with line and tape, painted black. This covering appears to be a replacement. It has an extendable shade, made to take a push-on lens cap, which is missing. A rope "Turk's Head" knot has been added to the shade. The objective lens is an achromatic doublet. It has one draw, a four lens eyepiece, and a flared eyecup with a sliding cover, missing its small pin. It is signed "Ross London" on the draw, with the eyecup to the right. |
