Description |
This telescope has a round parallel wood barrel covered with leather. The push-on cap for the objective lens is missing. The objective is an achromatic doublet, that appears to have been replaced. It has three brass draws, a four lens eyepiece, and a flared eyecup with a sliding cover. It is signed "GILBERT & Co. LONDON" on the eyepiece tube, with the eyecup to the left. | |||||
