Description |
This monocular has a round parallel barrel made of cardboard and covered in tortoise shell. The single non-achromatic objective lens is contained in a silver-colored cell. It has one silver-covered draw (without retention), a single eye lens, and a flared eyecup. The metal on the telescope is very ornately engraved and is probably silver. It is signed "Dollond London" on the draw, with the eyecup to the left. It comes with a shagreen covered case, trimmed in silver. |
