Description |
This monocular has a round parallel mahogany barrel, with a push-on objective lens cap. The original objective may have been an achromatic doublet, but it has been replaced with a pair or lenses that are not achromatic. It has one brass draw (with no retention), an eye lens, and a tapered eyecup with a sliding cover. It is signed "J*GILBERT Tower Hill LONDON" on the draw, with the eyecup to the left. |
