Description |
This monocular has a short round parallel cardboard barrel, covered with shagreen. The single objective lens is non-achromatic. It has one cardboard draw (without retention), covered in red leather, with tooled-on silver-colored floral designs. The single eye lens is contained in a flared eyecup, made of a material that could be ivory, painted black. The black ring retaining the objective and the two black rings at either end of the barrel are also made of this material. It is signed "SHUTTLEWORTH * LONDON * " on the draw, with the eyecup above. | |||||
