Description |
This French stereo viewer includes two eye lenses built into the side of a wooden box. The rear surface of the box is a frosted glass plate, positioned at the focal point of the lenses. A transparent stereo image card is placed in a slot near the frosted glass plate. The stereo image is illuminated through the plate and by a hinged mirror on the top of the box. The user would face a light source (such as the sun) and adjust the mirror to illuminate the card. | |||||
