Description |
This drum-type brass compound microscope has a cylindrical housing, standing on a weighted ring. Two sections of the housing are cut away to access the circular stage and one section to allow light to the plano mirror below. For focusing, the body tubes slides up and down in the tube at the top of the housing. The objective screws into the bottom of the body tube and the two lens Huygenian-type eyepiece screws into the top. The mirror can be adjusted with a thumb wheel on the side of the housing. It has no accessories or carrying box. There is no maker’s signature. |
